One system

Tickets, staff, vendors, and sales all in the same place

Why we built it

Most event teams run on a ticketing tool, a card machine from somewhere else, a pile of spreadsheets, and a group chat. It holds together until the numbers stop matching — usually the week after, when someone has to work out what actually happened.

Monetane keeps all of it in one place instead. The numbers only exist once, so there is nothing to add up against anything else afterwards.

What it does

Four jobs, one system

Selling tickets, taking money on the day, running the event, and tracking what you made are all the same event seen from different sides. Monetane keeps them together, so a change in one shows up everywhere straight away.

Ticketing

Sell tickets and get people through the gate.

  • Set prices, tiers, and on-sale dates
  • Limit numbers and use timed entry
  • Hold tickets back for promoters and artists
  • Sell at the box office and on the day
  • Handle refunds, swaps, and name changes

Payments on site

Take money anywhere on the site, with your own Stripe account.

  • An iPad app that works with Stripe card readers
  • Bars, box office, merch — all on the same setup
  • Add your vendors so their sales come through too
  • Turn on tipping wherever you take payments
  • Set your own booking fees and charges

Operations

Plan the day and keep your team on it.

  • Build the schedule for the day
  • Put staff on shifts and areas
  • Keep track of vendors and suppliers
  • Log problems as they happen, with times

Sales tracking

Know what you're making while it's happening.

  • Sales by gate, by vendor, by hour
  • Food, drink, and merch next to ticket sales
  • Fees, tips, and taxes broken out for you
  • Splits with promoters and artists as you go
  • Reports you can hand to your accountant

Payments

Your Stripe account, your money

You bring your own Stripe account and plug it in. Ticket sales and everything you take on site go straight into it. We are never in the middle, which is also why we do not charge a percentage — you pay for using the software and Stripe's normal fees apply as usual.

It's your Stripe account

You connect your own Stripe account, and every payment goes into it directly. We never hold your money, so there is nothing waiting to be paid out to you afterwards.

An iPad and a card reader

Our iPad app pairs with Stripe card readers, so you can take payments at the bar, the box office, a merch stand, or anywhere else on site.

Vendors on the same setup

Add your food, drink, and merch vendors so their sales run through the same system, and you can see everything together instead of collecting reports afterwards.

Tips and your own fees

Turn on tipping wherever you take payments, and set up booking fees or service charges the way you want them rather than the way a platform decides.

How it works

From setting up to settling up

The same event record carries all the way through, so nothing has to be typed in twice.

  1. Step 1

Connect Stripe and set up your event

Link your Stripe account, then add your gates, ticket types, prices, and staff. If you have run the event before, copy it and change what is different.

  2. Step 2

Sell tickets and build the team

Put tickets on sale and fill your shifts. Every sale and every change lands in the same place, so there is nothing to keep in sync.

  3. Step 3

Run the day, then close it out

Your team takes payments and checks people in from the app while you watch the numbers. When the event ends, the totals are already there.

Get started

See it with your own event

Tell us about an event you run and we will set it up on the call — your gates, your ticket types, your staff — so you can see how it would actually work rather than watching a demo of someone else's event.
